Friday February 2oth - Set up Day! If you plan to volunteer this day, please be ready to be physically active. We will have a few positions available with limited physical demands to suit the abilities of all our volunteers, but most of this day will be working to help with load in and set up.
Saturday 21st or Sunday 22nd - Con Days! If you plan to work during the Con, please be ready to rotate through several stations: wristbands, information, kids area, hospitality, etc.
Working a single shift will earn you a single day pass to Lubbock-Con 2027. Working 2 or more shifts will earn you a weekend pass for Lubbock-Con 2027!
You must be 18 or older to be a volunteer.
Perks of volunteering at Lubbock-Con 2026:
Volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt to be worn while on duty and keep as a souvenir after the con.
Volunteers will receive a wristband to be worn while on duty.
Volunteers who volunteer at least one 4-hour shift will be free to wander Lubbock-Con for the rest of that day.
Additional perks may be available for volunteers who work more than one shift, but will vary depending on available resources and donations.
A couple of things to note:
While we will do our best to accommodate your interests and/or position requests, Lubbock-Con needs volunteers in varying positions and you might be asked to do something outside of that. Lubbock-Con will need many volunteers, but there is no guarantee that we will be able to accommodate everyone who applies this year. Please don't let this stop you from applying! You will be asked to read the Lubbock-Con Volunteer Handbook and to sign the Volunteer Agreement stating that you have read the aforementioned handbook and agree to the Code of Conduct as outlined within. Must be 18 years or older to volunteer.
