Who is Lubbock-Con Ventures?

Lubbock-Con Ventures is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to education, entertainment, and community engagement through pop culture.

Through Lubbock-Con and its other outreach initiatives, such as workshops, participating in other community events, and partnering with other organizations, Lubbock-Con Ventures serves Lubbock and the surrounding West Texas community.

Lubbock-Con Ventures celebrates the creativity and passion of pop-culture fans in West Texas and strives to foster awareness, inspiration, and appreciation for multiple fandoms and hobby related organizations, lifestyles, and industries. The Lubbock-Con Event allows the organization to not only give the local community a platform to share their talents and creativity, but to bring in entertainment and creative industry guests to Lubbock, which provides a unique experience for our West Texas community.

Since its creation, Lubbock-Con has been organized and run by a completely volunteer staff. Without the many hours, skills, and talent donated to Lubbock-Con Ventures by these volunteers, this event would not be possible.
